z1000r speedo problem

any body had problems with the sensor at the sprocket,my earth connection was broken ,i have repaired this but still no joy,sensor seems to test ok with the basic test according to workshop manual,any advice would be appreciated

Maybe its just broken like in the way my nine is in that in never seems to want to dip below 140 most of the time
