ER5 running problem?? HELP

Just bought a project ER5 did the full service plus strip and clean of carbys everything stock standard?

Bike starts easy but when you give it a blip on the throttle it tends to hesitate at mid revs but when you put half choke on its much more responsive.

The only thing that isn't new is the air filter i'm still waiting on it.

If anybody has any ideas it would help

did you remove and fully clean the emulsion tubes? sounds like theres a glitch in the carbies somewhere and a re-strip may be of benefit

please explain where the emulsion tubes are? i'm sure i cleaned everything well

New airfilter fixed it runs perfect now i cant believe how much of a problem a dirty filter can cause
