On that note I read somewhere that not all frame's are 100% in alignment from the factory  ....Wonder if this is BS or not :?

Ask Garry Rooke at Oak Flats motorcycles who he gets to fix them. His number is 42563391. He's also a great mechanic at a good price if you are looking for one.

I have a dent in my front rim that will get repaired when my tyres are due and he's going to send it off to get sorted when he changes the tyres for me.

I'd say it is likely the case. I'm doing a mod to my 250 which includes putting in longer shocks (dualsporting it) and with the extended angle of the swingarm the frame just clears it on the right side by mere millimeters and on the left it is certainly rubbing. This could be either due to frame alignment at manufacture, or someone has bingled the bike in the past. Given the lack of frame scratches i am wagering on the former.
