Oldman, what's the weather like there now? :)
The weather is about 80 to 90 degrees F. I went for a couple of nice rides last Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I went over the Mirror lake highway, a beautiful 80 plus mile drive that gets into the pine forests and lakes with the road reaching 10,228 feet at the pass. A very pretty ride. It is about a 90 mile ride to the far end and then over the pass and home for a total of about 220 miles. Sunday I went over the Monte Crisco pass over by Huntsville, Utah, another 10,000 footer very pretty with some very nice twisties, (same with the mirror lake highway) and almost zero traffic. Another 200 mile plus ride but at very sustainable fast speeds, (80 to 90 MPH) most of the way with the ocassional 140 MPH burst. Lots of fun. I will take my camera next time and post some pictures. The J.B. at the end of the trip was nice, to reflect on the beauty of where I had been. It is amazing how much HP is lost at 10,000 plus feet. Cheers. :kuda:
