replacing brembo levers

Postby matchan » Sun Jan 03, 2010 10:21 pm

Hey all,

possibly I'm being more mechanically inept than normal but I can't for the life of me get the original lever off my brembo master cylinder, it looks like it should be simple, but....

the pivot point is easy enough to remove, just a spring clip of sorts, once this is off the pin on which the lever pivots just pulls through, but the pin/plunger which activates the brake disappears into a rubber boot and doesn't appear to "just pull out" this part is also threaded so it can function as the span adjustment, I don't just want to try and yank it out as needless to say I dont want to break it.

Anyway, thoughts ? I'm sure someone has done this before.

Cheers
Matt
