Yay finally back in business, Repair cost $55 incl gst & the Hoff Guard 3000 is in place (should have done one as soon as I got the bike
)
for anyone that is interested I have enough silver mesh left over to do 2 more bikes, $10 each piece pick up from Seven Hills only
+ If you bring in your measurements I can guillotine it to size for you.
Happy Dayz

A good reminder to *everyone* out there who hasn't fitted up a radiator guard as yet......its only a matter of time !
That SuperCheap mesh looks fuuly tsick moite - just use a bit of 6mm fuel hose cut lengthways and run it down the exposed edges on either side, cable-tie the bastard on - and it will look neat as a pin...

I've done a near identical one to the hoffguard. The only difference is is that i was a lazyarse with the cutting and made it wide enough to wrap around the edge of the end tanks as i had heaps of clearance from the radiator to the fairings.
If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.
