Radiator Guards

Postby zx-10r » Tue Feb 24, 2009 5:03 pm

Been thinking about getting a radiator gaurd for the zx10r , just wondering if anyone has had any problems with them with instaling/faulty/areodynamics issues with any particular brands etc. Looking to get a 'radguard'.
Im fairly convinced i need one becuase i dont want to be buying a new one if it gets damaged, i have a feeling it would be rather pricey. All comments welcome, zx-10r :kuda:

Member here makes them - Pontikat.
His computer is busted at the moment so PM either Sulli or Rusty to get further details as they are in regular contact. Ponti is in Brisbane.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

got one on my nine. a radguard one... overall is pretty great, but the top mounting bracket wasnt quite sitting where it was meant to (bottom was fine) so it took me about 3 hours and several trips to the hardware to actually install... not sure if it was a one off issue, but it did annoy me a little...

all in all though, after picking several stones our of my radiator in the past, im happy to have it.

Make your own. Buy the mesh from super cheap and cut to suit ya radiator...cost $30 and have enough to do 3 bikes.
