Wheel Repairers (Nth Queensland?)

Postby plane » Sat Jul 26, 2008 3:33 pm

I was following too closely behind a car today and the car obsured my view of a lump of wood lying on the roadway.

Long story short: I clouted it with the the front wheel hard enough to flair both sides of the rim away from the tyre.

Sooooo..... Does anyone know of a reputable wheel repair man/company somewhere in Queensland? Please bear in mind that I am 1200km north of BrisVegas, so somewhere in Mackay or Townsville would be ideal (but not essential).

Thanks in advance for any help,
Pete

I can't help you with anyone all the way up there Pete. but it you end up having to post it anyway then Laurie Alderton in Sydney (or more precisely his son Dave) will fix it good as new for about $90.

Didn't make it there this year... was moving into a new house. You would have seen my mate Errol on a black ZRX competeing in the burnout comp. Evidently a ZX14 took top spot this year robbing Errol of a hat trick.
