I think (and I'm note sure about this) that the system that is supposed to heat the carbs via the engine coolant, actually has the reverse effect in colder weather. I know that the ZRX is hard to start and keep running when it has occasionally been parked outside in cool conditions.

yeah I heard something about that and apparently you could/can get warmers but I cant be bothered

I'm just happy to let it warm up slowly
Easy and logical solution Foxy - Tuck ER into bed with you and throw BF out in cold.. Guarantee bike will start better -
(Also guarantee BF won't STOP) (wingeing)LOL


BF would take pics as im always on about "No bikes in the house" rule
