That 10 doesn't look too bad in black. I think having the missing fairings in shadow helps too. Looking at that 10 I couldn't help thinking that it reminds me of an late '80's GSX-R 750

I have to disagree with you mate, this black one looked very nice today...

Looks nice mate. So who's got the seagull swallower in Canberra then???? (that intake looks like it'd take care of a strategically placed pile of dirt on the side of the road quite well)

A bloke named Rhys who used to have a smooth crim until he totally munted it....he's been hanging out for this bike to be delivered for ages and it seems to go quite well

that ride yesterday was a local ride for the CanberraRIDERS crew, but from the start it could have been a KSRC benefit !!!

The new 10 looks way better in black than any other colour, although the blinkers are stil  :x ugly, and the zorst has more cat converters and valves and ugly cans than anything else out there - all to be binned shortly for an 'Akrapovic fucken'..... The young bloke who owns this bike has got some good pace, and will be hard to catch when this bike is run in and modified a bit.

Hoffy - did you spot the *Hoffmeister Mk II* top box ?? Fitted to an '01 9, it bought a tear to my eye......thinking of you mate !!

i'm probably biased, but vert much prefer the 06, you sit in the bike not on top like the crim.

Matt if your still keen for a comparo see if you can get a ride on an 04/05 and then take mine for a blat, given the suspension won't be setup for you though.
Seriously if it's within budget try a 1000cc since you've done the 600 route, bike looks are always personal preference.
If you could get a used one with suspensions mods already done (front or rear) your ahead, a common complaint is lever travel/fade on the brakes but that can be fixed too, and not necessarily by some of the ways you read about.
