if you go putting crazy amounts in it may seeing as it dont have the lubricating properties as fuel but metho is pretty much straight alcohol (filter it in bread n u can drink it so i have been told dun hold me to that though) but metho will absorb the water in fuel and some of the sludge fuel can leave behind

A cap full of meths every now and then will not harm the rubbers in your fuel system one bit.

If your bike is left outside uncovered, overnight, then it *will * get condensation in certain areas. A capful of metho won't harm anything as jl4049 says, and will absorb any condensation in fuel tanks, lines, etc.

Its really only a problem if you regularly leave the bike outside, uncovered, overnight......

for christ sake dont drink it.
methalated spirits is ethanol with a percentage of methanol and other additives in it. This changes 1) the tax bracket it is put in, so it doesnt get a fee of $20/litre or something stupid. It also goes from something that can make you drunk to something that can make you stonkingly drunk and make you blind as the methanol in it attacks the backs of your retinas and makes them detach from your eyeballs making ou blind for the rest of your life. Then theres the "it may kill you" factor too.....

So to hell with that, please dont drink that shit.
