I previously had pirelli supercorsas pro sc2 front and rear but now ive swapped over to pilot powers.
pros: Pilot power has a higher profile which helps tips the bike into corners better
cons: Dont feel as confident going into corners because they give less feel
When I launch now, I wheel spin off the lights and doesnt feel as stable when going 240+ compared to my old tyres.
Overall: The pirellis woop ass but they just dont last as long but I prefer grip so the next time when i buy tyres, I aint gonna be a tight ass anymore and get the pirellis again.
some say I stress about tyres too much but having good tyres on a bad day, may just save your life.

[/quote]It is not a fair assessment comparing tyres of different styles for wear and grip! The supercorsa Pros are a race tyre as opposed to the road specific Pilot Power. If you were comparing the Michelin Pilot Race with the Diablo Super Corsa Pro It would be a more even comparison. The Pilot Power is in a similiar playing field to the Metzler M3, the Bridgestone BT014/015, the Conti Sport Attack, and the Dunnie Qualifiers.
Where as Metzler Racetech/rennsport, 208GP, BT002's all sit in the Super Corsa playing field!
I am sure the grip and mileage would be more similiar if comparing apples with apples.
