Two wires coming off the back of it? Either short them or separate them?

just check the switch with a multimeter - it will either be a closed or open circuit with the stand down...........as Macca says, its then just a matter of either joining the 2 wires together or splitting them....

My money is on a 'closed' circuit when you lift the sidestand, so you probably only need to join the wires together to by-pass the sidestand switch, and bobs your uncle......
