Get your mates to do it for you.

my mates are lazier than me

thanks for the big write up MrStompy, it doesn't sound too hard. i got Galfer lines which run both lines from the master cylinder. The only thing is that they included a piece of paper which says i have to cut a tab off the master cylinder unit so the lines can move to the side out of the way or something? Did anyone else have to do this?? i think its an 05/06 zx6 problem.

na fuck cutting that thing off.

you should have no worries just putting the hoses in a position so they are on the other side of the "tab" or whatever they call it (if they need to be there that is).
if it really does cause trouble (which it wont) two minutes with a hacksaw will remove that thing.
but you should be able to get away without changing it
you will see when you start fitting them.

thanks mate, i was just a bit afraid that it might be there for a reason, didn't really want to start hacking into my bike. I'll try to work on it this weekend.
