SPARCO paint stripper from bunnings Mick, about $15 a litre tin from Bunnings champ.

Well I got the paint stripper and had a good go at it yesterday. Note to self, don't strip a bike in bare feet cos that bloody stripper will give you blisters! (edit - hang on, that sounds like I was up to something completely different  )

I worked reasonably well. Got all the crappy stuff of the cam cover pretty easily but the paint on the cylinders was a bit harder. It's off most of the obvious places but there are a couple of other spots still to do.

it always is......when I stripped the engine paint off the Black Pearl, it took maybe 3 goes before every speck had gone ? Its just a process that takes more than 1 go in some spots.....

bare feet ???? didn't you read the instructions ????
