Grease nipple missing!

Postby deafwish » Fri Dec 22, 2006 3:01 pm

Hi folks!
I was under the Zed today with the grease gun, lubricating the rear shock points, when I noticed the centre nipple is missing!
How the hell do I get a replacement?
I just rand Race Replica and they cant even find a part number! :?
Where the hell can I get one of these, tomorrow in Melbourne?

Cheers.
Daz.

Repco or any good bolt shop will do if you want to sorce it out.
Just a matter of sizing, more than likely to be metric thread but with G-nip's even on metric machines can be an imperial size, take your bike with you. They are really exy at like 20 cents each :) .

Alternatively pop into the local bike mechanic, (any good one will do) he/she will know exactly what you need

you have probably already fitted it, but if not, you should bung a drop or 2 of Loctite on the thread before you screw it back into the swingarm....

The blue stuff not the red one, either 262 or 242 can't remember which, otherwise you wont get it out again without an oxy torch, then again you may not need too.

You can get that at the cash register in a small satchet from supercheap for a one off job
