Wilbers book in "Motorcycle Consumer News"

Mon Dec 11, 2006 11:17 pm

Dear motorcycle enthusiast:

In its November issue, the „Motorcycle Consumer News“ printed a short article about our new expert book “Motorcycle Suspension Technology”! Thanks to David Searle, the writer of the article, we were allowed to pass you the news… Thank you, David, here is the article (find it in USA “Motorcycle Consumer News”, November issue, page 32, Holiday Buyer’s Guide):

“Wilbers Motorcycle Suspension Technology

This is the book sportbike riders everywhere have been waiting for. Finally, practical advice on chassis maintenance, (with a nice opening bit on chassis design through the years); the theory and design of suspension systems (without math), including forks, shocks and steering dampers (with excellent color illustrations) and a wealth of hard-earned advice on chassis and suspension tuning. Only $ 19.95.*
As with any mechanical puzzle, you must know how all the systems work in order to figure out how to troubleshoot, repair or tune them. This book gives you that background along with a priceless education that only a handful of suspension technicians possess.
Very nicely produced in hardback, with 95 pages, several in color, it is translated from German with small passages that give the reader pause. It’s also remarkably free of self promotion, considering that its co-author is Benny Wilbers, of Wilbers Products GmbH, and co-written with Motorrad test rider and editor Werner Koch.
Currently, only available directly from Germany.
Wilbers Products GmbH – http://www.wilbers.de/usa

* Please note that we did change the price a bit to US $ 24.50, plus shipping fee!

Thank you for your attention,

Have a great week!

Take care and always ride safe!

Dirk
