Go the Pilots, trust me and trust Mario, you will not be disappointed.

Also if you dont have any confidence in the tyres that you have on your bike now, then in my opinion, do not wait until you need new tyres, get them sooner rather than later. Ask at the tyre place for a small discount or trade-in price. The tyre place may be able to sell them second hand thereby giving you a better price on new tyres.
No confidence in your bike/tyres or any other part of your equipment can add up to a disaster where you may get a close up look at the local council's handy work!!! And we dont want or need that.

To me confidence equals comfort equals better riding experience.

Anyway this is just my opinion.
Happy riding :)

I've got an 019 on the front and an 020 on the rear. I love my Bridgies. Having said that, after trying out the Metzler M1 Sportecs on the K1200, I think I'll give them a shot next time.

i love my m1's just ask ty, dave and dave what i think of them.

i usually get about 4-5K from a rear and more from a front. although the 105K's of twisty's on an un named road (fair go i told u guys about mt granya, gotta keep some secrets) and the bega - candello - wyndham - cathcart road have taken a toll on the current one.

then again now were back to reality in the "big smoke" it may last longer, plug and all.

i was more leaning towards the pilots.

Thats not a bad idea corrie. Might do some ringing around. I also have a connection into Peter Stevens which should get me the pilots cheap as shit (at the worst 15% if i loose the connection).

like i said i would love to get low and hammer, but dont have confidence in the tyre cos i've heard bad things and also at 160km/h the tyre feel like there no balanced, it could be a flat spot. Dont know :!:

Thanks for the comments corrie

I am now a Pilot Power convert

Not only do they look great however even fresh and unscrubbed the ride and grip are just confidence inspiring( road about 60k's home over Mt Cootha etc, taking it easy but still giving them a good scrubbing in )!! Mick at Goodna(who it took me 45mins to find!!! cause its in a shed in suburbia was going to charge me 359 for 020's or 370 fitted for Powers

Powers for me baby!! I am sure you have all guessed I am a happy camper right now.

Good to see what they can do on Sunday.

And Mick also gave me the steel valves( that are at a 90 degree angle ) so it makes it easier to inflate the tyre for $5 nicker for both wheels.

HA! Was there just two days ago myself mate! His prices just can't be beaten eh?

Glad you're happy with the tyres. He loves to chat to, not the speediest service, but fuck he knows his business, and at those prices!

Funny stuff! I got Mick's details from Glenn, and also got the advice about the "gab"... welp, I've been WAAAAAAY happy with my BT-014's f/r... these tyres rock, and we went with 70% profile on the front (when KHI says to use 65%) cuz Mick didn't have the 65's and they are absolutely fine. good bloke. great tyres, awesome price (as has been said all before!) had the 020/010 r/f combo before these and that's what's changed me to a bridgy boy, they are really great and these 014's seem even better!!!

The OE Pilot Sports on the new beast feel pretty good!!! I am still wondering if I would have got the trade that I did if I kept the old Bridgestones on the 9R and didnt put on the Powers!!! oh well!!
