Well it's started

. Fistly after purchasing seat hight was at max hight now at min. Today went to buy the c-spanner for the pre-load nuts but the pevious owner was 7ft tall (i'm about 5'4")and weighed a lot more than i do so the pre-load was at max(down inside the swing arm). Finaly after managing to wind it off 2/3rds of what it was i can sit on it and it drops down about 20mm, before it never moved even when i jumped on it, it was that firm

. Now both feet can touch the ground, dam its low. So i will be off to a mates place as he has the deep socket and the workshop to boot just to raise it again. Next problem is before if i went over the speed jumps getting there it would just scrape (bottom fairing) now i think it would rip the bloody thing off.
Mostly back to standard so it should be a lot more fun to ride soon enough
Lessons learnt today: 1) If the tools you buy don't exactly fit bench grinder is handy
2) Getting the pre-load nuts out of the swing arm wiyhout removing the whole shoch is a time consuming, slow, pain in the ass.
3) It's all wothwhile in the end

i hope
