i use to use it on my 929 ....depending on what fuel i was running...i didnt find fark all difference between high octane PULP and low octane ULP and the additive (i use to live where u couldnt get a decent premium unleaded)

just use what ever octane ur bike requests..any more is a waste ..especially on the road..

definately a big waste on a zxr250, as is premium... stick with ULP unless you really can notice an improvement running PULP, but it aint likely. most carbed 250's run real rich on pulp
if your going to kill a bronze, you gotta do it BIG!

Exactly!

As Social said, your bike is carbed, and it is tuned to run on standard fuel. Unless you get it retuned to run on high octane fuel (if you even can) it won't make a lick of difference.

Once you get EFI and an oxygen sensor... then it starts to make a difference. :)

bike EFI is usually open loop, some california bikes have O2 sensors but for emissions not cruise economy

I will now join the chorus of people telling you to hurry up and buy your 636, already.

That way, hopefully, you'll go out and do your own experimentation instead of continuing to ask these sorts of stupid hair-splitting questions.

Octane boosters are a waste of money! I only ever used them in my car if I couldn't find premium (It was tuned for PULP). Every time I'd check my plugs they'd always foul up (orange residue) and that's after on ONE tank full! So ulnless you have some problems with detonation or have Extremely easy access to you spark plugs, I'd keep well away from the octane boosters. I tried about half a dozzen different brands and they all had the same effect on the plugs.
