Screw it!

Postby Stereo » Thu Sep 07, 2006 12:50 pm

A while ago I was F*cking around trying to get the lightbulb on my 03/04 zx6r out....

I have managed to get my standard light pointing too far toward the ground...

Which way do you screw it to get it to angle upward? It doesnt say in the owners manual.... Clockwise or anti clockwise? Ive tried giving it a couple of turns both ways, but it didnt appear to move at all.... so before I give it 30 twists in the wrong direction I thought I would ask...

Also, where should it be pointing? Isnt there a rule, something like, from 10 feet away it should be at 3 feet of the ground or something like that?

move your bike pretty close to a wall so you can see the immediate impact of moving it to determine which way does what

And anti clockwise should take it upwards, of course not too far or as Mr Smith says, you're of the adjuster..
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"
