radiator fan clicks + an indicator thing

Postby WRT_GPX » Wed Aug 23, 2006 10:25 pm

ok, on my GPX250, the fan comes on when it reaches abotu 3/4 heat, and when it runs it makes a scratchy / clicky noise everynow and then... not non stop.. but like an intermittent click.. whirrrrrrrrrrrrr..click..click....

now for the indicator thing, my indicators work, but sometimes the left one doesnt blink.. it just stays on... and it seems to be getting worse, does the GPX have an indicator box somewhere? or could this be related to a fuse?

It could just be something in the fan blades(bug, stone). the indicators could be a bulb or the flasher can. They are designed so when a bulb blows the indicators don't flash.

If the bulb was blown, it would not work at all, the blinker unit uses the same circuit for left and right blinkers, the only thing different is the earth return
