Hand Grips

For general Technical and Performance Discussions

guys,
thought i would share some info about what i discovered with changing hand grips. it is so easy to get them on/off using my method it is ridiculous. you shouldn't have to worry about them moving at all either....

basically, if you have access to an air compressor & airhose... you're in!!!. try a servo otherwise and use theirs :D

to start wit, get your old grips off, dont care how, u dont need em anymore...done that? right. lets go....

simply put your new grip on the bar and push it so its on as far as u can push without bugger all pressure. no need to force the issue
next, grab the end of the air line from your compressor and stick it in the hole in your hand grip. turn the air on (u will probably have to hold grip/airline with one hand, no probs tho) and what u find is the air creates a "pocket" on which u can slide the grip just about the entire way on.

when the time comes to change the grip.... lift up part of the grip, get the air in the and pull.

thats it!!! :D
hope someone tries it and finds it useful....
