08 zx10 running like crap.

How u all going ? Was half way over granya this arvo on my 08 zx10 when i got up it it was like it hit the rev limiter at about 8000rpm but when the bike was out of gear the bike would rev freely right to the red line.Not sure whats going on .What do u all recon it could be ?The 08 zx10 only has a slip-on .Hopefully its an easy fix .

Not sure how they react when they go but maybe fuel pump?

The 08 10 has only got 9500klm on it .

Certainly could be fuel pump.

It could run fine when cold but when hot the ecu starts to lean the fuel out however the bike is already lean due to a partly blocked fuel pump. Thus the surging and lack of power when secondaries open.

Could also be blocked fuel lines, dud spark plug, maybe O2 sensor

Yea i just checked the net and i recon your on the money glen either the fuel pumps on its way out or its needs a clean cheers and thanks for your time
