G'day all I was just curious if anybody knows of any good suspension gurus in western Sydney blue mountains area?? I've got a 2009 zx6r and was wanting someone to have a look at it for me... It's my first big bike and I've only been riding it for 6 months... The reason is that I don't think the factory setting is suitable for my weight... I weigh close to 100kg with all me gear on and there's no way that this weight is set out of the factory... I'd have a go myself but as I said it's my first bike with adjustable setting and I don't want to fiddle with it coz I have no idea I'd rather someone with the right tools and knowledge do it.. Any advice would be appreciated thanks...

Only one I know in the Mountains is Terry Hayes. He is at Wallacia, when he is not at the Track. Knows his stuff IMHO.....

Another option is Sean at SOS Suspension in Penrith. He did a sensational job on my tracky. Not cheap but very good.

I would take it to Zenodamper after the job he did on Blurr's and Fireyrob's bikes which are both the same model as yours. He will be cheaper than the two mentioned above as well. The only problem is that you need to travel a bit further to get to him.

Yep, I've had work done by all of em over the years..
I'd recommend Zenodamper, followed by Shocktreatment..
Theres one out this way I wouldn't let near my pushy let alone a motorbike... (not mentioned above)

all depends what you would like from the suspension person.
I'd recommend writing down why you think you need a change (i.e. what the bike is doing, track or road riding, budget, etc) and give Zeno an email
http://www.zenodamper.com.au/contact.htmthe suspension tech and rider relationship is a funny thing. it's a bit of try it and see.
some will say just springs, other will say springs and valves and then the next will say dump the oem you must have full carts and new shock!

Why can't we be a Tractor club and all ride around on Rigids..we'd all save a lot of money.

I was thinking more Hogly Dogly's. My tractor has suspenders

Not sure about Pete's though
You need to stop fighting it though.... You know it's inevitable

Its just like the Borg ship Glenno, resistance is futile.........I even here a confirmed sportsbike nut has been riding a certain ZRX that lives in the same house to work
