KSRC Group Buy Bridgy R10s, Slick or Wet Tyres.!!!

Boss man posted (PI Double Header Nov 14 & 15 2011 page 10) that Craig White could do a good price on these tyres for a group buy.

There has been some interest but some may have missed it...If interested contact me or MadKaw (as per original post) for price.

EDIT 14 October:
Craig has confirmed Saturday 22 October (9am) for us to get our tyres for the group buy.
He would prefer that you take rims only but if you can't get the rims off your bike then bring it but that will of course take longer.
Cut-off time is 10PM next Tuesday and I will email him after that so that he can order in what extras he needs.

For those that haven't specified which rear tyre he will supply type 2 (hard).

The Deal:
Bridgy R10 (Fr type 3 medium, Rr type 2 hard or 3 medium), Slicks or Wets...all at the special price.
He can do sets of R10 front / 003Pro rear (type 3 or 4) for $420.
5ltr Panoline full Syn road or race for $65 (normally $105)
Goldfren GP6 $40 per caliper (usually $50)

As this offer was initially intended for the PI trip I propose 22 October (Saturday) as next weekend is Gingers, weekend after is Bathurst and the next the PI GP.

I can collect for anyone south of Sydney if they don't want to come to Sydney and either deliver on the way home or take to PI.

If anyone from Vic want theirs before the PI trip I am happy to collect while I'm there and meet at maccas Glenrowan any time.

Anyone from further afield PM me and we may be able to arrange something.

if i can have a set for the same price as 003's im in , otherwise i will stay with the 03's.

I spoke to him yesterday and he said he knew nothing about a group buy. He did offer to sell me a set for $540 which is more than the local bike shop is charging me and that is after they bought them off him in the first place and then paid freight as well.

He also tried to tell me how no-one can do a fast time on Dunlops and that the 003 is a better tyre than a 211.

Good luck with the group buy but if there's only two of you I'll bet he offers you jack shit.

That doesn't surprise me about Craig, he was a bit snowed under at Winton..

Tell him he spoke to me at the Winton FX round about a Kawasaki club group buy for the P.I. track day, as we have done previously - he gave me a price better than that.....
If no luck let me know and I'll call him and refresh his memory......

OK, I emailed Craig and yes he does remember the discussion we had and yes he will do us the group buy discount.!
I suggested to him(based on previous years) we would get about 8 to 10 sets though so thats what he is looking at.
If thats not achievable than the discount may be reduced.
The price he quoted to Nelso over the phone is the std price, as its a group he buy will only give the discounted price in that group purchase, not one set at a time - this is a group buy deal only. (the group buy price is nearly 15% cheaper.!!!)
His sponsorship on KSRC is not offering a set discount but on group buys like this or specials that he may offer from time to time - or whatever you may negotiate as a KSRC member (he knows who we are). He just needs to get on the net a bit more and let us know about them.. aye Craig.?..

I have bought a hell of lot of stuff from Craig over the years and have always had good dealings with him.

BTW - put me down for 1 rear r10...

BBTW -Google bridgestone R10, these tyres are getting good reports and for under $500 for a set there pretty good value. The Bridgestone RRP is $660 a set... The price will be going up next year, so get in quick and don't forget the Xmas track day is coming up..

I'll take a set 120/190 in medium compound

I'm not going to PI but I'll need a set for the Gumby before Xmas so I'll go in for a 190/120 set if we can get the numbers.

i was at whites shop tonite , i bascially needed a cheap rear tyre for the weekend so i ended up with a 5 lap old farm near new bt16 tyre $100 fitted ,95% tread , thanks craig .

if the group buy goes ahead i'll have 1 pair, thanks !
