Yes it does fit.... but the cost to retro fit doesnt make it worth it.

yep the CBR llinkage is totoally different. At least if you buy one off zeno he set the spring and valves up for you

Aye, I'll answer this so others know why it is troublesome for future reference...
Parts needed & most will be above 100 dollars BTW, if not nearer 2...:-
1) Body cap has a different shape - Unit Pro-link sw-arm = different.
2) Machine different bearings for top section (width) - parts and or time in labour...
3) replace bottom eye with clevis type fitment
4) shaft length
5) inner tube (twin tube is what the TT in TTX means; doubled barreled i.e.)
6) outer tube
7) stop spring & likely a main spring

basicly everything except the oil and adjusting knobs

nah, I wouldn't try and catch the oil from it a sit falls into pieces, too hard!
besides, once the yellow heat can gets on it, u don't want anything oily in there as it might go bang

What about a 06/07 zx10r ohlins shock fit into a 2010 zx10r?
Sun Dec 26, 2010 9:43 am
Same shock length but would still have different internal set up if I guess correctly
