2009 Zx10r key replacement

Hello Girls and Boys,

I’m going to have a look at a 2009 zx10r that has been in accident,

The bike has all the bits needed to repair it… BUT it doesn’t have a key!!!!

I need to know if I replace the whole key assembly do I need to get the ECU remapped to suit the key?

Didn't know you can get an ecu remapped. The theory is that you need a new ecu or there is a mob in England that can recode a new key off the ecu then the locksmith would need to set up the barell

geta race kit ecu...

has no key

but i think your pretty stuffed without a key at all. you'd need an ecu.

Just seen wet4u now does repairs.
