My outrageous tyre pressure recommendations validated

I'm still getting to know my new ride and know very little about tyres but why are these pressures outrageous? Thats the recommended pressures for the ZZR600. (120/60 17 front & 160/60 17 rear)

...ahh yes pressure guru Hoff but you're missing the critical qualification to the recommendations. Look at the top right hand corner of the page........."Safe Operation". Race gods don't operate in safe mode.

I wouldn't trust anyone who can't spell "TYRES"

and the 'when cold' applies Hoff, cus yours are always cold
