amp clamp

im looking at a device to track where my the electrical gremlins live on the zx7r
i had a NRMA guy at work today charge a battery and use an amp clamp.
so i dont buy any old thing off ebay, what features would i be looking for in such a device for use on the motorbike?

Google "How to use a multimeter" - there are heaps of tutorials.

thanks, ill have a look at that after my two nightshifts. SO MANY BUTTONS!

For basic fault finding ( auto ), you won't need most of them. Just the volts, amps, and ohms.
