I need to buy new tyres and can't decide what to get.
Or should I just stay with what i'm using now?
I'm currently running a Bridgestone BT016 rear and Michelin Pilot Road 2 front(hard to find now), it's a weird combo(as people have told me) but feels very stable thru corners, the front just turns in real easy and the rear is super grippy
I was looking at the new Michelin Power Pure or the Pirelli Diablo Rosso. They are both on special at Bikebiz for about $440. Has anyone used these or have any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance

i can throw some 2 (track) day old Racetecs at you if you wanted to give them a try... like new in the centre and only 'worn' at the edges
i usually throw them on the roadie... or sell them on for cheap

Have you had a look at the Metzler Sportec M3? Weldo has them on his 07 ZX10 and rates them higher the Dunlop Qualifyer. I also have them on the ZRX. I cant fault them.
The Metzler Racetech Interact,Comp K is in the same league as the Pilot Pure. Both look scary for all weather riders....

I'd be going the round black ones for sure

but make sure they're the ones with the hole in the middle ..

Yeah Jus, I agree with Richo............................
Tyres are like arseholes

everyone has them................. Trouble is everyone has a different opinion of them
Get what your happy with and get them as cheap as you can.......... If you choose any of the Bridge's, you will find it hard to beat Whites, but it might mean a run to Ingleburn on a Thursday evening to get them....

Hey mate, what are you fitting them to? What will you use them for? Rossos are a good sport touring tyre on my 1098, the Pures have more grip but wear faster, they dont look like lasting like the Powers either, so, if putting on something with less horsepower go the Pures or if you want mileage go the Rossos, i had 5500k approx on rosso on rear of Duc, the only problem was wheel spin. both are good tyres. And both are being sold cheap at the moment, stock up i say.

Check with BMW dealer...They are OEM tyres for some of the range.

The old Mk 1 OEM Qualifiers fitted to many kawasakis were undeniably shithouse. But I liked the normal Mk 1 that were *not* OEM dunnies......these were fine, good grip and good wear.
Supafrog - finding any Michelins can be difficult, let alone PR2's !
