removing broken bolts

Hey all, I've a broken bolt i need from the frame fairing mount where my slider has snapped off, I know there is a tool for this but can't think of what it's called I figure I'll probably need one again some time so what's it called and would it be available from a regular hardware store?

yeah Eziout, easy out, ezi out, summat like that, I have some you could borrow if Avalon or Lane Cove is anywhere near you

buy P&N or sutton...........if the bolts stainless....lots of bits to suit.....caution while drilling
or can you get multi grips on it or hacksaw a slot and use a flat blade screw driver, if its not sheered of flush with frame

Frame slider bolt ? I'm guessin' 8mm......an ezi-out will do this, if its 6mm, take a lot of care !

Many ways to do this, I do this shite everyday, so until I see it I cant any give advice, if you think you have no fukin idea dont make it worse by trying

If you are going to try ezy-outs, please do centre puch the bolt before drilling to keep the drilled hole in the centre.

sage advice and given by plenty of people, all worked out ok with an easyout

If you have a reversable drill, then you can buy reversed drill bits. I've had the broken bolt come out when I have been drilling the EZ out hole. Doesn't always work. I've also had a drill bit break in the hole and then your farked.
