All comments welcome.

Apparantly they are a very round tyre which makes them slow to steer.
I decided against a set on my 7 cos the bike was heavy and slow anyway and i didnt want to accentuate the problem.
I have no experience on the tyre though so it may just be the guy at the shop wanting to sell me something else, who knows.

Whicks - these used to be the tyre of choice last year - heaps of them used on the WSB trip. They work great.
But most people seem to have moved onto the 2CT's, as these give the same (or better) grip, with much better mileage as a *general* rule....

a few here swear by them.
funnily enough i didnt really like them on my ZX10r, no problems with tip in, i had a couple of slides right on the edge of the tyre.
i put it down to my bike not being heavy enough.
Phil has em on his ZRX and knee down wherever he likes, so i reckon you'd like em.
other option would be a Michelin Pilot ROAD 2

Have a pilot road 2 on the rear and a pilot sport on the front now. Just want to try something different, given i never get more than 6-8000k's out of tyres, i wont have them for long.
Plus, its nice to try something new! You can always go back!

You looking for a sporty tyre or one that will go the distance? I wrote a review on the z6 a week ago, may not suit your application though.

Yeah Wattie, I didn't think much of the M3's to be honest. They were OK when brand new, but lost the edge grip within a few thousand klms and they don't last anywhere near as well as the PR2's do. I know Phil loves them, but some guys really like ugly chicks and I don't understand that either!!!!

As gos mentioned I had them on for the last superbike trip. I couldn't really say anything bad about them but for example the pilot powers I had on before steered a bit quicker with a rounder rear tyre. I got 8500 out of mine and they weren't completely fucked, just mostly haha

Well, they are now well and truely scrubbed in. I must say that they have improved the bikes handling ten fold. They give me a great deal more confidence than the PR2's and the Pilot sport.
I was also a lot smoother as the grip didnt seem to fade the more i laid it into the corners. Either that, or i had more confidence in the new tyres....
So far, so good. (150 km for the arvo....)

I ran 5 sets of M3s and found them pretty good,on a really warm day if you are pushing through the twisties they can grease up a bit on the edges. This was no real problem as it was a gentle and progresive slide which actually was a bit of fun.Since them i have been running dunlop roadsmarts, differance is they absorb the bumps a little better and are way better in the wet .Also i manage to sqeeze a few more ks out of the rear on the roadsmarts but get about 500-1000 ks less on the front as i believe the sides on the front tyre are softer than the M3s.
