Pre-load adjuster's.....

Mon Jun 22, 2009 9:02 pm

Was just wondering if the part in the Pic below can be replaced without the whole fork being replaced?

Eg. If it had a big scrape on it (adjustment part). Also would it be a lot of money to replace?

is it only the nut of has the flat head screw driver adjustment been damaged?
if its the nut you can get preload adjusteds and fit them so you dont actully use that nut, they sit ontop of and you can adjust by hand so you dont have to worry about a spanner slipping if its slightly damaged.
if it gone and you need a whole new fork top, that may be a little bit more expensive but im shore a wrecker somewhere will have damaged legs and will want to get rid of them ;) try findapart maby
