gday mike,
Thanks for the input, and normally I would agree with you, but i've been riding for 3 years, my old bike was a yamaha szr 660 (wikipedia it if interested) and I have no untouched rubber on the edges of my tyres (old bike or new

)
I already have money set aside for suspension setup, I know a guy in sydney thats awesome with it.
(and I've done trackdays at EC and 2 advanced rider training courses).
so yes, I would like (and use) the increase in performance. I don't think the bike is seriously lacking, however after test riding all the current 1000cc bikes, I would love a more powerful engine in the zx6 frame.
cheers for the advice regarding the power commander, my dealer (who races them in superstock) said that it would be fine without a powercommander as the bike self rectifies itself within a range of variables. He did however say that a power commander and dyno tune would add further performance gains.
do you have an opinion on this? do you think it will self-rectify or require remapping?
Cheers,
Daniel
