Low revs no fuel?
Fuel line maybe pe partially blocked or you have a leak in the line.
I think from memory the carbies on that bike are sucking the fuel through, low revs, not enough vacuum
Have you seen the introductions and newbie zone?

it idles at 2000 n drops if i lean it to the left it picks up again it does suck the fuel also guy who worked on it just kept saying old bile its worn but he also gave it me running on 2 cyl and blamed it on being old until i wouldnt take no 4 and answer and it was back on 4cyl, but the idle thing has got me so i have to pay again for some1 else to do a carby balance. newbie zone?

Put all new fuel lines through it and clean out the carbies.
You can get fuel line at supercheap. take a bit of the old one though, they have shitloads of sizes.

sounds like float levels to me mate i have had the same problem with mine there a real padantic bike to work on if the adjustments are out on the carbs by a little bit it throws the whole thing out and runs like a bag of potatos
i have found that a float level of 14-14.5 not the books 13 is ideal and give you good pick up from Wide Open Throttle from idle and around the rev range.
either that or to save some money and time as seiko has suggested make shore your vaccum lines are connected.
also to bypass vaccum operating the fuel tap, try running it on "primary" this does not need the engines vaccum to allow fuel to get into the carbs.
cheers Tim
