Light Globes

Sat Feb 14, 2009 7:09 pm

Any input from anyone who's fitted decent light globes. IE High Intensity type's...

I want some that are white, not the yellow shite that were stock. On my Gumby, are they different between the one thats on all the time versus the high beam? Any direction would be great!

Rob you can buy them in Kits from ebay or off a website in England + US that offers free delivery.

You are after a H9 for the high beam and H11 for the low beam. The Kits from ebay are about $40 and I currently use them in the Bug. I had some for the Gumby from the below wesite but the only disadvantage when ordering from them is that you need to buy one pair of each. I couldnt point out any major differences between the 2 brands but ultimately they are both definitly brighter.

Repco, Autobarn and Supercheap will only stock H4 and they do not suit so dont try

very easy to change you dont need to remove anything

I was going to ask exactly the same question.... only mine refers to my traitor GS500. I'll ask at MAW, but basically I'm after a brighter road and less chance of "SIDSYM" commuting home.

I just slow down and let Russ go past so I don't get blinded in the mirrors....It also boosts his ego so he thinks he is quick too :D :kuda:
