I know this is pretty basic but i wasn't quite sure. My bike has a bent clutch lever from when my bike fell off its stand when it slipped on some gravel a few months back and this morning i decided i'd take it off and try and at least try and bend it back into shape but probably buy a new one. At the moment i have the clutch lever and everything around it off the handle bars but still attached through the electrical wires and what not. I'm just wondering how you get the actual clutch lever off everything else so i can at least get it in the vice and warm it up. This is probably a bit confusing so ill try and get some pics.
Thanks.

I've got it all sorted

no need to worry, i know you weren't anyway. I snapped the end of it, which was probably a good thing, its in a manageable shape now, I'm gonna buy some bling black ones off ebay for the clutch and brake lever soon, but this will do in the mean time. I rang up the kawa dealer, they wanted $45-50 for a single clutch lever, so I'm just gonna try and get a pair of black levers from ebay for the same price.

Bargain! KTM wanted $113 for a clutch lever for my bike!

I got 2 clutch levers and a brake lever from MAW for a total of $42

Since you have raised this topic, I was wondering if anyone has used the Pazzo clutch and brake levers. And if so, did you have the normal or short ones and what did you think?

Bloody expensive... but you get what you pay for

I had a set of short Pazzo's on my du....shhhhh & they worked great, but because of the cost never got another set on any of my other bikes.

ZZR 600 levers would fit the 250 wouldn't they?

I've got shorty Pazzo's on my zx10 and I really like them. There the first set I've used as they came on the bike.
I'm not sure if I'd buy a set at there current asking price, but there are few cheaper versions available..

rob, russ has pazzo's on the new 10 (they came off his old one)
they look pretty good... means that two fingers on both sides is all you can really grasp of the lever by the looks of it... dunno if that works for you...

I have a set of shorties and I love them. Dear as but. ASR's (I think it is) look pretty cool too.
I imagine I will cry when it falls over and one breaks.
