Has anyone had the indicator switch stop working?
It works on the left but will not move to the right to turn
on the right indicators ( like something is in the way )
Dose this sound like the insides are stuffed & will I need a new switch block?

open it up and have a look, could just be a little bit of crud. They're not too complicated, but make sure you don't lose anything.

Yeah man, open it up without damaging it and use some 600 grit sandpaper and brush the contacts if they are corroded or nice and grean and the use a little bit of vaso to inhibit them.

Also as it's a mechanical switch, often there is a little spring loaded toggles and springy bits and lots of little parts to get caught or dislodge. It would definately account for why you cant use the indicator to the right.
And for the love of god, don't force it, you may have to buy a new switchblock to fix it if you go down that avenue.

had same problem pulled switch block...(thing with all those springy bits and toggles) apart several times cleaned lubed reset ..go riding stops working...was right indicator too.......problem was actually the indicator relay under petrol tank contact sticking..when top pulled off a little puff of smoke could be seen when trying to get right indicator to work..scarry!!....pulled out it.. cleaned contacts..refit still sticking ..clean again crc/ wd40 wipe dry refit.....no probs last 8months........they're cheap was given 10 bucks as price at bike shop equivalent elswhere

while your at it if your choke doesn't stay on you may be able to fix it while your in there.......

indicator does not work again (right only stopped )..........f...!!! will have to take tank off and spend the ten for non kwak or go get stiched for original part that will slip on locators ( guess 20 at a kwak dealer) high finance huh...........the joys of an old bike with a dubios history are endless...... (voice inside head keeps saying get a more recent one ya dumb f~~~!!...other voice outside head (wife)...threatens all sorts of repercussions if internal voice triumphs
