ummm thats why i suggested he sell the bike....

ussually theres a rear bolt and the front slips under a hook/latch... maybe if u take the rear seat off u can see it?? maybe its down the side under the seat (mine is) ..... maybe u should ask ur gf to have a look for u... :P

HP, bring the bike over here, leave it overnight and i'll work something out for gfetting the seat off, big screwdriver if ya want :D

Fairly sure I have pinch bar here too somewhere...

I find the angle grinder and crow bar are mighty useful tools in the D.I.Y. box. But then I am very experienced in 'destroy it yourself'!

I think you need to loosen your nuts.

This is KSRC, we could get a few laughs out of even the most sensible, well worded post. Pull up a seat and enjoy the ride

grab the correct allen key out of the tool kit your bike came with and remove the dark gray/black side covers that are just below the seat and tank.
there should be two bolts in the left side and one in the right side.
once you remove those covers you can see bolts holding the seat down.
there is one on either side. whip em out.
then you just lift the seat off. i think it slides forward slightly from memory.

it will all make sense once you get a cover off. you will be able to see how it works then

probably best not to use the grinder ;)

for some reason i thought you had an 06 zx6
im not sure how it is on the 04 model.
probably similar - dunno

if u can't rip it off with yer bare hands, maybe a hack saw or chain saw could od a better job, or even an oxy torch ??
