brake discs ...what size????

i am upgrading the front discs on the track bike. it is a 95 zxr.

i have measured the outside diameter of the discs and they are 320mm. i have looked up standard specs and it says 320mm.

i am looking at a brake disc website and they are say 310mm fits 89-95 and then 320mm 96-2002.

will i buy the 320 mm??? all other measurements look the same??

i'm getting confused?

Yep, all ZXRs from J onwards are 320mm dia.

Mate, Groggles, Old chap. The correct way to choose your brake discs is to make sure that the O/D is not smaller than the axle Dia other wise you won;t be able to get the wheel on. The next step is to make sure that the O/D is large enough so they actually come somewhere near the caliper although this is not quite totally nesesary unless you actually want to be able to stop. Finally they must not be so large that they are bigger than your wheel. If they are this will have an effect on the bikes handling and will cause you to push the front through corners however you will look like Troy Bayliss with the amount of sparks being generated at all times.

People in glass houses mate, people in glass houses. Hmmm but then again at least mine is big enought to fit the special bolt through and i do not have genuine documented medical evidence of ones lack hmmm shell we say size. Only you possess that.
