Airbox Silencer - Z1-R

Looking for one of these (P/N 11016-009) there must be heaps of these lying around gathering dust - most guys took them off and fitted big carbs and air cleaner pods for some more go. This silencer was fitted to lots of Z1000 bikes - anyone got one they don't need? Please drop me line if you have. Ta, Slimey.

Did you get a silencer for your Z1-R? I got one from Steve at Oldgold M/C -
he picked one up in Japan recently and brought it back for me in his hand luggage - what a top bloke!
He goes there regularly to find parts for Zeds (and other bikes) might be worth dropping him a line?

I had to make up an adapter for my airbox as some FWPO had cut off the outer end of the tube where it connects to the silencer!
(probably to fit a single large pod directly to the airbox) Made it out of some rubber mat material cut to length then joined with rubber glue.
All good now tho' and another task crossed off the list!

I'll try Old gold ,if not a pod will do the job for now.
