Spied a few days ago when there was no rain, The center of this R1 rear tyre was worn, upon close inspection she's not a few rides old that's for sure.

See he didn't want to go past where the tread ended.

A acquaintance of mine, with an R1 went to the drags this week and got a 11.66 out of it. My old GPZ900 (the detuned 89 model) did 11.985. A mate of mine cleaned the R1 guy up in the twisties with his KLR650....guess it goes with the territory.

He's probably ready for a 1198S now

How can you ride that upright...surely there must be a roundabout somewhere near his place..

There's an R6 I see at work that's just as bad, very worn tyres with MASSIVE chicken strips....tyre ninja could write an essay in there

Maybe he needs tyres with tread all the way to the edge.

We need a "best of" the worst chicken strips. Post em up whenever you spot them and can take a picture.

Go to the PITS if you want to see the best of, there was a big selection last time I was there

those tyres are more like chicken fillets than strips ! massive. he must have a very tiny pecker eh ?

The least they could do is donate the un-used rubber portion to those less fortunate..
