A trout looks up from the water at the fly and thinks "If that fly would drop 6 inches then I would have me some dinner!"
Beside the river there is a bear. He looks into the stream and thinks "If only that fly would drop 6 inches, the trout would go for the fly and I can grab the trout and have me some dinner!"
A hunter looks down the barrel of his gun at the bear and thinks "If only that fly would drop 6 inches, the trout would get the fly, the bear would jump into the stream, I could shoot the bear and be home in time for dinner!"
Waiting beside the hunter is a field mouse. He is looking at a cheese sandwich in the hunters pocket. He ponders "If only that fly would drop 6 inches, the trout would eat the fly, the bear will jump into the stream, the hunter would fire his gun and his sandwich will fall from his pocket. I'll get me some dinner from this!"
Hiding behind a tree, not trying to bother the hunter is a cat. He gazes at the mouse but not wanting to upset the hunter thinks "If only that damn fly would drop 6 inches!! The trout would get the fly, the bear would pounce on the trout, the hunter would shoot his trophy, the mouse will jump on the sandwich and I will have a tasty dinner!!"
All of a sudden....the fly drops 6 inches.....the trout comes up and eats the fly......the bear lunges for the trout.......BANG!!! the hunter shoots the bear and the sandwich falls from his pocket........the mouse jumps on the sandwich.........the cat leaps at the mouse but misses and lands smack bang in the stream.
What is the moral of this story?????
Everytime a fly drops 6 inches there will always be a wet pussy around somewhere.....................................................................
