Love yr work Gos!!! For those who don't know or havn't heard the story, when I had the Ducati 1000 Mille Desmo back in 1984, I had a Border collie/kelpie X called flash; who used to ride on the tank. I had an old leather flying cap and some goggles for him, and he used to go everywhere with me, from Sydney's peak hour traffic to a run up the Old rd! It was pretty funny rounding people up through a turn on the old Duck and have them look across and see Flash grinning back at them, tongue hanging out in the breeze, or pull up next to a car window at the lights and have Flash Bark at them right at eye level
The only problem with flash came when I lived in a flat in Coogee. My mates would come over and we would all go out into Coogee and usually end up back at my place for more drinks. They would wait until I was spastic drunk and whatever, then they would yell out to Flash...."Wanna go for a ride?" and he would go absolutely ape shit around the flat till you took him! The problem was, I kept my bike in the flat itself. So I had to wheel it down the Hall, open the front door, wheel it into the alcove, put it on the centre stand, spin it around and then walk it down two steps and onto the footpath. So, you can Imagine a young 18 year old, with a brand new ($10,000 back then!!!

) Bike, pissed as a bastard trying to get the bike out, without scratching it, or the walls in the flat!
Then I would have to get the old girl started, which involved getting it around to top dead centre, then praying the starter would have enough grunt to turn it fast enough to catch!
Then to top it off, Flash wasn't satisfied with a trip around the block, it had to be a proper ride for at least half an hour or he just wouldn't get off! Little prick! I wobbled around Coogee on that thing on more than one occasion barely able to stand let alone ride. (Not condoning it, it's just that we grew up in different times with a different mindset) Mind you, I could always get them back...like when there mums rang my place looking for them, and they were too trashed to speak and I would say...."Sure Mrs Elliot....He's right beside me" and just throw them on the phone!!!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
