I done got meself an earl leak pa!

I tripped over this on a US forum and it made me laugh! The poster is plum from Tennesse! Woohoo! A good old boy!!!!

I just did a short ride and came home with earl coming from the upper end. The valve cover was wet along with the left side of bike from the valve cover down. The bike has 30K on her and I am thinking either the valve cover gasket or the valve cover bolt seals. The valve cover has been off at least 10times for valve maintenance so maybe I should replace all 6 of the so called oring seals and the gasket. Shotgun approach to better maintenance ey. I hate earl leaks........must be the reason I got rid of all my 70's limeys and my hd's.

He is talking about something leaking from the actual bike right (as opposed to what I thought when I read the first sentence about earl coming from the upper end! )

Lucky it was just " earl coming from the upper end" and not "earl coming from behind me"

The english language isn't dead, the yanks are just simplifying it
