2008 Honda DN-01 wtf?

I know it's a honda but being such market leader they do have the ability to steer direction of motorcycle design (right?)... but what about this combo:

- Sportsbike fairing resembling ducati 1098
- Scooter tail and transmission
- Forward footstep from Harley
- Motard handlebar

needs to put sliders on the exhaust by the look of that

wtf is it? a bike? a scooter?
he is hardly leaning that thing and by the looks of it he is scraping the footpegs!
im surprised they didnt use a boxer engine to go with the footpeg scraping
