Im stoked with the result!

Man, it was great to see the sea of green in the crowd when Nakano overtook Melandri! I was cheerin' among groans of protest from my useless Honda-lovin brothers.....bloody crash...blah blah...9th......blah blah.... Hey, he still beat Gibbers and HRC Barros you clowns - so suck it !

I think we neeed to get a pic of Nakano riding with the Kawasaki flag for the Home page!!

1st since 1981! That's just
Embarressing?! What do you expect? They werent in Gp's for almost 20 years prior to 2002. :?

WOO FARKEN HOO!!!! Couldn't ask for a better day of racing. Considering how many Hondas are in the field, you'd think they'd be able to get more than one in the top 3.

Only 2 Kwakkas out there, and one of them in 3rd. Pretty bloody good effort.

Didn't see too many Spewzukis crossing the finish line.

yep, thats right, also considering they are the smallest japanese factory AND they hevent been getting data for the last 20 years like the other teams. BTW they did dominate the old 350 and 250 classes for a while with an aussie named greg hansford (RIP). I think it was kork ballington that scored the last premier class podium tho.

lets face it, honda and yamaha are always going to dominate because they have the most money. unfortunate but thats the way it is.

didnt stop me standing up cheering my heart out

That was a great result. :D Am I exaggerating in saying it was one of the best MotoGP races ever.... ? :D

The first corner crash should not take anything away from Nakano's achievement - after all there was only one Yamaha and Honda in front of him. Nakano says he could see the accident coming so he breaked early and took the inside line. I guess a bit of local knowledge helps. :)

Guys like Barros, Bayliss not to mention "Hollywood" himself should have gotten in front of Nakano.

The moment when he got past Melandri and the "cut" to the kawasaki stadium is a scene I will not forget for a long time. And it was nice to see him waving a Kawasaki Racing flag rather than his national flag.

Most importantly, I hope the podium finish in front of the Kawasaki executives inspires them to put a few more $$$ into the team budget for next year. While the big factories such as Honda and Yamaha will probably continue to dominate, there is no reason why a green bike can't keep them honest from time to time.

I was jumping around like an idiot, amougnst non bike people. WHAT? Go team green. I agree, Nakano was there at the end, after a lot of racing after the crash. We may have a smaller budget, but we have a more superiour bike. Bring it on, i love the underdog beeting the bid boys.
As for the Doggies... Fuck it, Fuck it, Fuck it. Footies over for 2004. No Storm and no Swannies....

Kwakka and the future :D 8) Let's go Girls. No offence Neka.

Bloody terrific result. Damn good ride by Shinya IMHO the bike is still a dog though, better mannered then it was but its still a dog none the less. If it wasn't for the Bridgies i reckon he would of finish about 6th, after at least 5 bikes that normally finsh above him fell over, I love me Kawasaki's and he rode the ring out of it ... did any notice the smoke it dropped about lap 4 i went on no here we go its gonna Lunch itself but it cleared up ???.
Love the comemorative Siggie James looks Way cool.
I felt sorry for Bayliss he deserved to finish after backing the "big red pig" in most of the time day - there is No way thats the same bike Capirossi gets.
Hope they can carry some form to the Island
