I went to the Oran Park round of the Swann Series in 1986, I think it was the last round ?? (could be wrong), with a few mates from Newcastle. Wandered around the pits (as you do) and got some OK shots of the bikes there.......I remember it was a cold, overcast day, but I cannot remember bugger-all about the racing......I think Kevin Magee did all right, and also Rob McElnea (sp)......he was also a regular in the GP circus of those days......

so here are some photos to wet your whistle mate.........if anyone tapes tonights show, I would *really* like a copy, happy to pay postage, time etc.....no problemo....

That reminds me, I have a video of the 1987 shell Australian superbike series... Bought it quite a few years ago in a bargain bin for $5....

If anyone wants a copy....... stiff.! as I wouldn't dream of breaching copyright laws,
oh, and I don't have the facilities to copy it.. :-)

Well "Bugger Narfie with a Race Stand !".
I still Forgot it was on & only managed to copy the last 10 laps of the very last race. FFS what a rabbit.
Wasn't a total loss though as I did get to see Gardner Turn the v4 Honda into a "Brush Cutter" with 2 laps to go trying to re pass Mal Campbell.

Dave I'll swap you one of my personal back up copies for one of yours.
Cheers Brett
