I've seen a bit of this on various sites. What's the reasoning behind it? Does anyone know the story?

+1! They'd probably put a new engine anyway but he blew it out frustration... I'm sure the KRT's marketing ppl were not that thrilled with those images. hahaha

LOL, I didn't catch that when I watched it. I was wondering what would make an engine die, then blow. I would've thought it would blow at the time of death, then I was thinking maybe it didn't completely die but was running wrong when he pulled off, then it got worse.
I didn't even notice him revving the guts out of it I guess the flames were too attention-grabbing for me!

Probably got back to the pits and went "Analyse that....."
